Tax Payer having less than
50 E-way Bill in the tax period of the return will be displayed all
the
E-way Bill invoices online. The taxpayer can select invoices for
import
in GSTR1. After successful
import these invoices will be saved in GSTR1. Tax payer will be able
to
edit imported invoice
data while preparing the GSTR1 of the tax period online.
Tax Payer having more than 50
but up to 500 E-way Bill in the tax period is required to download
the E-way Bill invoices in CSV format. A CSV file for importing in
“GSTR1 offline Tool� will
be immediately downloaded. The Form GSTR1 can be prepared using
offline
tool after adding other
data and then generating a json file which can be uploaded on GST
portal.
Tax Payer having more than
500 E-way Bill in the tax period will get a download option for
downloading
all E-way Bill invoices and information relevant for GSTR1 in zip
file
format. This zipped file
would be available for download in 15 to 20 minutes after clicking
the
download button. The extracted
Excel file from the zipped file will have the sections of
Table-4(B2B),
Table-5(B2CL) and Table-12(HSN
Summary) need to be imported in the GSTR1 offline Tool to make the
GSTR1
after making required
changes, additions to it.
The default value in
“Invoice Type� and “Reverse Charge� fields
for
the invoices in downloaded Excel/Online
Import is “Regular� and “N� respectively.
However, the taxpayer can change these default values
as per the actual nature of transaction before uploading/saving in
GSTR1.
